They are a part of my project called "Between the Lines: Merging Portraits and Stories of Older Adults". You can find their story next door on this blog by clicking on the 3 small bars on the upper left. My intent is to help dismantle some of the stereotypes surrounding ageing. For instance, that is a period of vulnerability and decline to be resisted as long as possible. Biases aside, there is a significant amount of developmental work to be done as we grow old to complete the circle of life. That is the message I hope this body of work delivers.

Florence says, “live life, so when you pass away, you’re the only person smiling when everyone else is crying”. The stories are held in “Between the Lines” section of the blog found when you click on the three bars above left😉 5/17/2023 0 Comments Cheryl Having survived a major stroke a few years ago, Cheryl remains" a whole person despite half a brain". Not a member of a church per se, Cheryl's faith sustains her stating she could hold church in a garage. Read the story that came our of our sitting 'next door' in "Between the Lines".
