There have been so many moments missed or off the 'record' heard only by me which make me feel so fortunate to have experienced them personally. I'll never forget when Dean look across the table at Donna while we were sharing a cup of tea after the recorder was turned off. He was expressing his good fortune in life but knew the end was near and how much he would miss Donna. Dean did pass away this spring... 8/2/2023 0 Comments StoriesThere are few things in life that I can speak to confidently but this I know; we are our stories and we make our stories. When someone sits for me, they tend to talk. Much of the expression comes through their hands. I try to incorporate hand gestures into my portraits as they add spontaneous and authentic meaning to the entire image. Such is the case here with Donna and Dean. They share a lifetime of supporting each other and their family. I think you can see that Dean is the story-teller...
