Network Declaration!

We know older adults want to age in the community. I want to age in place! We need to rally together in voice and action to create a unified community based senior serving sector to support that goal. This sector provides the resources that meet the needs of people other than medical needs. Often, the healthcare sector is called upon to deliver or at least connect people to things like housing, food and transportation. But these resources live in the community. The sectors need to talk to each other and collaborate to create efficiencies to maximize on scarce resources. In other words, we need to change the way we work together.
The Network Declaration was created to generate awareness and action to this end:
