Stories

There are few things in life that I can speak to confidently but this I know; we are our stories and we make our stories. When someone sits for me, they tend to talk. Much of the expression comes through their hands. I try to incorporate hand gestures into my portraits as they add spontaneous and authentic meaning to the entire image. Such is the case here with Donna and Dean. They share a lifetime of supporting each other and their family. I think you can see that Dean is the story-teller...
